Trying to break in a fresh rebuilt 360, during install I broke dipstick tube. I wanted to break in tomorrow. Will 6 quarts be enough for filter and galleys?

sounds right. Be SURE to run a break in additive.

I've heard two stories. One is comp cams video using zinc and staying between 2-2500 rpm for 30 mins all after priming of course. Second is from autozone:) you don't need additive because the assembly lube from the cam has zinc. No need to prime. Just crank with dizzy disconnected for a while, get it started, tune it and change the oil right away.

I'm going with comp cams;)

Good choice. Keep an eye on the temp. & oil presure gauge.

Oil pressure was non existent previously, not sure if it was the adapter for the sender being clogged or a bad gauge. Now everything is new, so I will hopefully have working pressure! I'm just worried about leaks honestly.

Yeah dog, was going to have the big fan ready, ambient temps should help too. Stop on down for a beer and engine break in!
