1975 CJ5, Basically stock except for electronic ignition.
<div class="bbWrapper">I&#039;m looking for a padded rollbar kit for a 75 CJ5. I see them in the catalogs and on the internet for 76 and newer, but nothing for a 72 -75, Either that, or some other option that isn&#039;t foam wrapped around the rollbar and held there with duct tape. Thanks.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">In all of the cataloges that I&#039;ve gotten and all of the websites I&#039;ve searched I&#039;ve never found any for either a CJ5 or the early model (76-80) CJ7&#039;s. I&#039;ve mentioned this to someone else, but have never went through with it; you could buy a set for the &#039;81 and newer CJ7s, and then take them to a local auto upholstery shop and have them tailor them to fit your rollbar. No idea what this would cost on top of the price of new rollbar pads too though.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">I just have to wonder how much difference there is in the rollbars during that transition from the 72-75 models and the post 76 models? Just looking at pictures I don&#039;t see that much. But looks can be deceiving.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">The newer ones are bigger the front goes down to the floor in front of the wheel well and the seat belt mounts to it.</div>

Keep in mind this product is designed to receive impact from a head with a helmet on............not a bare head.<br /> Have used the standard soft black pipe insulation foam sold at Hvac supply stores........ not the Home Depot junk.
