I'm gonna put the scout diffs under my jeep, should i go with soa, or sua?
 
If you do SOA just be prepared to deal with the problems Saddle Tramp mentioned by going highsteer and an rear axle anti warp bar.
I think the spring pearch is cast on the bottom of the scout (SUA) so
you would have to deal with that somehow. I'm not a scout axle guy
but someone here is.:D

You can weld a new perch on the diff but the perch needs to be ground to the larger diameter and the did needs a lot of material removed as well. I vote spring under with the great offerings from Rubicon Express, BDS and Old Man Emu you get a good ride with little issues.
