There’s a guy who makes up a kit I know for CJ7 & CJ8s and I wouldn’t be surprised makes a kit for the CJ5 . It’s all the hardware you need including the rubber pads, and bolts, washers and the steel insert like original. If you are interested here is his number. His name is Jim. 248-722-942seven

There was no exhaust gasket between the head and the manifold just pack with soot and the surfaces on the manifold are pitted bad

Well after 90 minutes of block sanding up to an 800 grit got it smooth enough for a gasket. All back together

I'm a little late in the game.
I would have taken the Exhaust Manifold to a Machine Shop and had them "Face It". Then it would be "True" from one end to the other.
Another old trick was to Double Gasket it.

I'm having a Leines Long Neck after Rewiring my Vintage Camper Cord.

Ok the driver side hub turns but it is not free. Have to use a wrench to turn it. I’ve cleaned it de greased it as best I can. Any recommendations on how to free it up?

Disassemble, clean, lightly grease, reassemble.

Lay everything out on a rag in the order that you remove it. Take pictures too.
Those old hubs are pretty simple. But they get gummed up over time, especially if not turned/exercised.

I called him doesn't make them for my red headed step child the 1977 Jeep CJ5

Just because it's not tailored for a 77 CJ5 does not mean you can't use a CJ8 kit. You will just have some leftover items.
I know I have body mount locations shown here for different CJ models. I'm looking now...
