If it is a T-15 or T-14Transmission . Remove your floor plate, then remove the bolts that hold the top of the Transmission on and pop the top off. Don't be to worried, nothing is going to fly out and get lost. At this point check to see how warn your Transmission is and look at your shift forks. If they wobble at all that could be part of your problem. Check to see if the gear sleeves will slide ..... man there are a bunch of things having the top off will enable you to check, but I don't know if I have the words right now to explain them very well.
