What did you do to or with your CJ today?
26" and 39"

wow!! you may have found the answer to the question. the best I can do with the master crafts is 21.5 and 34.

measured like this.

I understand the 7 is longer than a 5 and this could have something to do with it. Right now I am contemplating a notch in the rear fender to gain another 2". Why not more you ask? because the roll bar gets in the way after that.

all that room with storage and heat for $2 is a great thing!:notworthy:

IO FWIW my 7 measures 25 and 35 with the Corbeau's

I am envious of the added leg room, maybe I should call it what it is, Belly room. :D

Dog, did you lower the Corbeau's? as in shorter seat mounts? When I put my master crafts on the original brackets my head was above the roll bar.

Took it for the first good drive in months....thank God.

Also some work on it, but whatever.... We hit the road.

I cheated my seat mounts are part of my cage.:D

I did as well. I'm 6'2 I have more then enough leg room, plus floor space behind the seat in my CJ5 .

this is a 5? May I see some more pictures?

This is a truly remarkable rig. It is not, however, quite the solution to the after market seat in a CJ5 problem.:D

Thanks,

A solution none the less however, not one many would opt for.

Pete, probably should have, I'll post some pics when it's done.

And if you read closely you may see that they have to be 10 posts that actually contribute something or ask a legitimate question. That kind of raises the bar too.:D

Had to steal the yellow top battery out of the cj, to replace the failing and newer, red top in my truck.

I cleaned out my my carb since I read about a common problem with the stock bbd carbs gumming up easy. It was dirty but it still stumbles. I can't complain much since its 34 years old & no telling how many miles are on her.
