What did you do to or with your CJ today?

Let me plead my ignorance here, but I thought American cars a pretty popular in Australia. Its so popular that there's even rival groups that are either hardcore Ford, GM, or Mopar guys. With all the interest in American cars, I assumed there would be a better supply chain then ordering the part all the way from USA. That sucks!

Yeah some are popular ..like chargers, corvettes, pontiacs, and the big old 60s tanks plus muscle ..
and even chasing parts for those is an uphill battle

Sounds like somebody needs to buy up a bunch of classic auto parts from America, and setup a parts warehouse in Adelaide.

Well, I didn't get it installed tonight but I did get it hot tanked, sandblasted and painted.

Brainiac here didn't realize the water connection won't screw on with intake installed. I'll have to go with one that goes straight up.

Couldn't do that .. the government doesn't want people to get ahead so they tax all your imported parts .. then search it and tie big containers up for months on end

Technically wasn't done TOO the Jeep, but rather for it.....Was gathering up a load of "Jeep building" clothes, ran across an old OD Green t-shirt........ turned out pretty good. Now I gotta find a nice OD Green t-shirt.....

Maybe there is a hidden meaning, but shouldn't the decal be dated 1941-1986? If it is a statement I agree, 1976 was when the CJ7 was introduced. With the focus changing from utility to mothers with strollers, dash pads and soft seats the brand went down hill in tiny stages from there.

Also, OD = Olive Drab, Olive Drab is green. So, "OD green" is saying Olive Drab Green or Green Green. I remember saying "OD Green" once and feeling foolish when corrected.

LMAO - I cut the wrong one. Had a fellow member want one dated 41 - 76 and when I grabbed the graphic this morning, I cut his instead. Oh, well - it was a test cut to see what it looked like. I'll get it right when I get a new shirt

Anyone order anything off Midwest jeeps in Florida ?
I can't seem to get hold of them ..tried on Facebook, emails. And two expensive phone calls one at 5 am and 6.30 am my time .. nothing

Just tried calling them for you. Message that they are closed for the day. Of course it is already 6:30 pm EST there. Message said leave your number and they would call back. Dought they would want to call you back though since it would cost them and they probably don't have your country code. I have never delt with them.

Cheers bud ..looks like they don't get my business anyway .. found a localism surplyier who was that efficient that my parts are already coming ... pity for them it was about a $400 order

It is a hope sorta thing .. he said they was in the post but I'm not to sure aye because I haven't paid anything yet unless it's the parts listing and price which would the. Allow me to make sure that's the right bits and order even more stuff lol

Sold my OEM center caps. Along with selling my OEM wheels, I paid for my five new wheels... so I'm happy.

Bought a PowerProbe III, ignition switch, headlight switch, and some pop-tarts.
