Heck, I am impressed that the field of stars on the stickers faces correctly on both sides. Don't know if you are a vet but I do know that most people don't know the proper way to display flags. I couldn't count the number of civilians that told us that the flags on our uniforms were incorrect back in the 90's when we started wearing them on BDU's. We wore the flag patch on our right sleeve and the blue field was on the right so lots and lots of people told us the field was supposed to be on the left until they had it explained to them.

Nah, not a vet - just a PITA with high level of anal retentiveness LOL. My Dad, brother, and several close friends are vets, but I’m not. Have questioned that decision on occasion but it is what it is.

As for people not knowing how to display a flag - it’s surprising how few actually understand the do’s and dont’s.....

Bugs me that they flags are not in the same position but the antenna base screwed me up - had to shift it. Good news is, very few folks will be able to see both sides at the same time, so not many will pay much attention.

I'm thinking it's about time to get you a second woman on the side ! I can think of a few up in DC needing removal.

Broke down and finally wired up the headlight relay upgrade that I saw posted here awhile back...surprised at the improved brightness...particularly the gauges

Definitely worthwhile

I was rather surprised myself - I should have done that years ago

I'm hoping it may help with burning through dimmer switches ...think I've been through three in the last four years...third headlight switch, too.

The replacements are junk, though

That's what lead to the whole thing. HL switch gave out going down the road Friday night...that was fun. Hazard flashers weren't in the mood to show up for work, so... battery powered LED flashlight bungeed to the front bumper and away we went

That’ll work LOL

Distributor cap and plug wire upgrade (team rush). Maybe started a little quicker after install, but hard to tell. Looking forward to seeing if I get any improved gas mileage. I am around 16.5 on the highway right now

Your missing the one item that makes the upgrade work. You need a ford coil or msd blaster coil to go with the wires, cap, and rotor.

Hope this helps

Edit: mtnwhir beat me to it.

Interesting, that was not the way that I read JeepHammers explanation on multiple forums. The coil was optional, biggest part was the bigger distributor cap with more space to not cause cross spark and get spark to the correct cylinder.

I hear that a lot when the coil isn't upgraded.
There is a clear noticeable difference when the coil is upgraded.
If your happy with your oil filled coil run it as is.

It is added to my cart on ebay. Just need to wait a few days so I am being reasonable with my budget. After all, I am replacing NEW stuff lol...(also nice to have spares as well...)

This jeep had the original AMC coil still when I bought it from my Dad. She used to love starter fluid lol

That is the nice thing about the upgrade, doesn't have to be done all at once and is a pretty cheap job. Looking forward seeing the results.

Just finished install on a new aftermarket aluminum radiator I've been sitting on since last fall...

and a new dash mounted horn button...tired of the spring mounted contact in the column breaking every two weeks
