Finally cleaned mine up from the weekend.
Found that I cracked my frame by the rear spring hanger, passanger side this time, already had to weld and plate the drivers side a couple years ago.
Also bent my Transfer Case skid plate up against the case.:eek:

I guess it was a tougher weekend than I thought. :D

My drive shaft and hubs are here. Now I just have to find the time to get them put in.

Hooked up the power steering hoses and tested it out. The Pile O' Parts now has steering! :D

I still need to re-clock the steering wheel so it's centered with the steering box/pitman arm, but at least for the first time I can steer the darn thing.

All that's left after that is to make and install the brake line brackets so I can bleed em and have brakes, and to install the gas tank and fuel line, and I'll have a driveable jeep. Of course I'll still be busy for weeks to come on all kinds of little odds and ends.

Well I just found out that my new drive shaft is too long. But on the bright side my lock outs are the right ones.

Just recieved, installed my new Bestop replace-a-top.
Fits great.
Act now! Morris is giving out 50 buck rebates thru Bestop.
420.00 = not bad.

post up

I took some friends out shooting today, my friend Steve and his wife Kathy. She got a new gun this past weekend and wanted to target practice. You know, its always fun when ladys have not shot in a while- the look on her face was priceless! I also decided to take them for a trip to the backside of Saguaro Lake.
