What did you do to or with your CJ today?

Put in new clutch today and put new gaskets and seals in tranny.
Now to get the clutch set right.

I am tired of waiting for a certain dash builder to get with me on my dash I ordered (its been a year this month, no word since march this year) so I am working on building my dash now. Sure glad I didn't send him my old dash as he pretty much demanded, or I wouldn't have it to work off of!
Anyways, this is what it is shaping up to be. What do ya think?

This panel is getting overlaid on the original dash so I can salvage a few things off it, like the VIN sticker, the steering wheel opening, and the windshield latch mounts.

I like the layout, what is it made of?

A semi rusty sheet of 18 ga. sheetmetal lol. I still have to strip it, attach it and paint it. But I have a few other thing to add in yet also.

I like it. But I think your speedometer might be a tad ambitous.

Yea I know! But do you know how hard it is to find a decent speedo that doesn't go to at least 140?!? At least I have a goal for it now!

Some of you old timers might remember I got a pair of these last Christmas.

Well i just got done putting Alloy 1 piece axles in mine, along with another yolk and replaced all my seals, so hopefully no leaks now.

I was trying to think of a way to convince you I was your slightly younger brother who had been stolen as a baby by a band of migrant engineers and was returning home to spend quality time with his long lost big brother.:D

I wish  Maybe when I hit the lotto :D

 It's a nice little fab shop that the owner of is a jeep guy himself.
I wish I could confince him I was his long lost brother :D but than again you know how family can be sometimes.

I lowered the body lift the PO did on my CJ5 . In the process I removed the oversized clutch linkage and installed a Rugged Ridge clutch linkage with rod ends.
;)
