What did you do to or with your CJ today?

What did you do to or with your CJ today?
A friend took me out to do some real rock crawling today. I just revised my priorities list. LoMax gears are a must. I was debating whether or not i really wanted that low of gearing but after following him around over boulders bigger then my two story house and almost as steep. LoMax and a OX locker in the front are now high on the list. The little JC5 blew me away again:D

What?
No Pic's.

Ya, sorry. Kenny took some from the passenger set, there mostly just blue sky. :) Next time

i bought some springs for the wipers. now when it rains and im moving, i can see. had to get them at the hardware store.

Burgeon steering shaft, tie rod, finished organizing the painless harness and found the slop in my steering. Oh yeah, installed the front end! Good productive day!!!!! Took off work cuz I couldn't stop thinking about jeeps.:grinjeep:

replaced the front output shaft seal on the Transfer Case . then i put the glove box door. that was the nightmare. took me 2 hours, but i prevailed

Bought four new 32 BFG All terrains and remounted the spare tire rack in the back. Ordered a new light switch and blew the gunk out of the windshield wiper
sprayers....I can have clean windows now. pictures on Monday.:chug:

My electric fan quit on me yesterday on a trail ride, so I spent a hour tracing down wires. Finally found a bad ground wire.

Mounted NEW bumper and swing away tire carrier on my CJ7 . New license plate bracket too! And COOL new decals!!! (Not shown)

I made the much anxious phone call to the guy that listed the add, and struck a deal to make the 2hr drive tomorrow night to purchase my first CJ! Does this count?? :)

Sure it counts. Now all you will be thinking about is that jeep.:chug:Today I cleaned beer cans out of my CJ, and did some looked for a good spot for a radiator overflow tank.

today i pulled the front end off, took out the seats and took out the body mount bolts. body coming off this weekend for easy access for drivetrain swap.

Today I pulled out my radiator so I can relocate my power steering hoses. The aftermarket radiator is a little to big.:chug:

discovered a popping noise coming from the carb. after 2 days of sweating rebuild cost, researching solutions, and considering the option of an engine swap, i finally pulled the valve cover. i guess the pushrod came out of the rocker arm. thanks to cj-forum and all the cj owners, took me 3 hours and 25 bucks to fix it. now i dont have to drive wifeys explorer to work. hells yeah

Today I cleaned beer cans from last night out of the back. Now Im going out to put some more in it.:chug:

When i go to smoke at work, i find myself sitting in the jeep. then i notice other jeep smokers around theirs to. every other smoker is at the pit smoking. weird....

I removed the carb and replaced it with a TBI from an 89 GMC. yep, I going fuel injected. I'm committed now.

changed my fuel sending unit, that went out last weekend while wheel'n.
