What did you do to or with your CJ today?
It did feel a bit Woodstockish.. but dam it was a blast.

i have never attempted a doughnut in a jeep... but i can tell you that a suzuki samurai can accomplish this task with ease. :D
i love doughnuts and have done them in manny kinds of transportation apparatuses but i have never done it in a jeep for some reason i have this strange respect that wont allow me to do it.

i swept some sawdust under the jeep to soak up the previously mentioned repeating tranny leak
:(

Just a boring rainy cold day and some liquid courage a soaked back acre and u think...hummm how bout having funn and doing urself a favor like weed abatement! Sounds like win win situation.. A cj in slick mud is fun just watch out for ur deeper tracks.

When my cj is bad i just let it sit there and think about what it done..

Put tranny back in, and it wouldnt go into gear...
TOWED it to the Transmission guy and he fixed the stuck pressure regulator.
Instead of towing it back home (with no exhaust) I decided to drive it...

It was kinda LOUD... Iron manifolds only... Kept it under 40mph to avoid sucking cold air into the valves... Avoided as many hearing sensative cops as I could on the 15 mile ride.

I'M BACK!!

Completed my Scout Dana 44 rear swap today

fill's in my flares perfectly and with the 4.56 gears ARB and full width truss I made should hold up to more abuse than the AMC20 with twisted tubes that it replaced

Now just to finish the front and I will have 4wd again ready for some summer play time, was meant to be done already for summer

yea its a good looking jeep. jeepnjim where did you get that bumper??? i really like it

Hey kick thanks. There is a guy over in corona ca. that custom makes front and rear bumpers mainly for jeeps. Nice quality and lots of options. He advertises on craigs list in the inland empire section goes by the name the TheDirtworx there. You can see his postings there. I dont know if he ships.

It hasn't been all today, but the bulk of it got done today. All of this just for a different cam, I must be out of my mind confused-smiley-17429.webp

Mine is still on "time-out"

Letting her think about how bad she is for blowing another set of header gaskets (4th pair i think) and developing a leak from the Dana 44 Drivers spring perch area...

She's also giving me wiring problems too, (though I may have caused those. :D )

Either way, I'm beginning to feel bad for her being on a 1 month time out so far, and think I'll start her up today and let her out of the corner for a min or two.
