My friend who works for ups stop by this morning and dropped off my new winch, a SmittyBilt XRC8. So out came the saber saw and I cut a hole in the front bumper and spent the day installing the new winch. Can't wait to try it out now. :D

.

pictures please?:D

The lights are out in the big shop (outside). But you get the idea.

I like the way it turned out.

I don't seem to be able to enlarge these big enough to see what you did. Can you put some in your gallery?:D

I built my CJ7 for 4 wheeling and that's what I did with it today!

Pulled plugs and put on new fuel pump found carb was not letting fuel in so next will pull carb and clean it

I shortened the effective wheelbase of my DJ-5 (2WD) 13 inches today. should make for a good turning radius!

Finished installation of SmittyBilt security console and Sony marine radio, cleaned up rat's-nest wiring under dash, ordered waterproof speakers for dash. Next on list, new paint job.

mail delivery in a small neighborhood??

Priced out converting my drum brake to disc brakes. It will about 300 bucks with new parts but I am gonna hit a could pick and pull and lessen some of the cost.

I won an ebay auction and got a liquid check valve. Thanks for link, whomever gave it to me.

72-75 Jeep Dana 44

Those look nice. Is there a less expensive way to do it or it the best quality you have found?

Oh, the keep with the theme of the thread, I disconnected my whole dash. Now to clean and slightly organize the rats nest behind it.

Installed tailgate hinges, windsheild frame, seal, glass, cowl gasket, wiper motor, wipers....but new SS wiper motor cover bolt holes don't line up at all. Time to drill the shiney stuff.

Still need to mount the side mirrors and get my Dad to come over and tighten down the windshield brackets while I pull back on the windshield so there isn't a big gap at the top where the doors meet up. Once that's done, I'll be able to drive her to work. :D
