What did you do to or with your CJ today?
This is a four wire motor??
The "little box" is $70 and there are about one of them in the southwest. anyway I am going to go back to the JY next weekend and look at the Cherokee wiper motor. A replacement will have to come from a grave yard, a new wiper motor for a 93 Cherokee is $350!! The 3 wire CJ motor is $85.

IO, did you ever have any luck finding the electronic box for the intermintent wipers? I just changed mine to 2 speed also, couldn't find the electronic box new.Boneyards wouldn't give no warranty on theirs.

Hell it don't rain in Arizona anyway.

I have the switch and old motor for intermintent wipers there yours if you want them.

That's what I have is a 4 wire motor. It come out of my Jeep when I thought it was bad. It turned out to be the little box instead. I still have the motor, new switch and the wire harness less the little box cause I cut it out of the harness. The motor should be good but haven't tried it. AMC put the little box in that plastic compartment were all the water goes and ruined mine. Like I said if you want any of it it' yours. I just converted to the 2 speed wiper instead.

got the front bumper welding finished

need to grind a little so welds look like this

and to shape and drill all brackets

Finished up the rear corners and installed the round led tail lights
24 led stop and turns were cheaper than the 16 led
so the are freaking bright as hell

Replaced the motor mounts and the Transmission mount with Hyper-Flex polyurethane mounts from Energy Suspension.

I had a vibration at 3/4+ throttle that I thought was just the passenger side motor mount coming apart. Here to find out I had lost a bolt in the Transmission mount. After I got the motor and tranny mounts installed I went for a little ride, it's nice now, no funky vibrations.

I just spent a fun day with my daughter, we put new brakes on her Honda element. She put them on I just supervised and let her use the wrenches, floor jack and jack stands. Life is good.
I am proud of both of us.:D

ready to put power to them and see how brite they are

wow guys, this was a productive Sunday in Jeep-CJ.com land

I took my Jeep to Chokecherry Canyon just north of Farmington New Mexico. Some of those trails are better suited for hard core buggies. That was one place I wish I had a longer wheelbase and a lower CG. I kept to the trails that I knew I could keep my CJ right side up.

Has anyone else been there?

Look's like your :censored:holes got a pretty good bite on that seat cover.

Looks like a good time. Any more pic's.?

pulled the diff cover on the rear 20, found out it has 3.55 gears. going to be selling the front and rear as a set. went ahead and pulled the shocks off, 3 different sizes, no wonder it wasn't driven on the road. As the weather starts to warm, it will be frame prep time, need to replace all of the body mounts, and the two gas tank cross members, which i can't find replacements for.......:(

I removed my old worn out soft top, replaced it with a bikini top, and installed a hood latch lock. Then drove with the windshield down. Good day.

this is one damn fine looking CJ5 !!:notworthy:

Gettin' her ready for the backroads in Big Bend. Fabbed a "dash cam" mount for the video camera, and installed an inverter so I can run the camera on AC, and have hot coffee to start the day(s). Did a test run with the dash cam, and came out pretty good. Thank God for "image stabilization". Gotta remember to clean the windshield real good, though. The Auto Focus kept keying in on the dirt when heading into the sun.

Yeah, a big 'ol squashed bug butt in the middle of the screen would suck.;)
