Wiped the blood off the fender were a 2ft 1/2 inch ratchet suddenly broke loose a stuck bolt plugging an air feed hole. My hand kept moving at high rate, into one of the horn edges. It'll happen again!

Finished up bedliner and ordered a new tailgate rubber. Body stuff pretty much done. Now save pennies for engine!

To Germy, What type of bedliner product did you use and did it work well or a P.I.T.A. to use? I have a $300 quote frome Line-X to do underside and $400 more to do passenger compartment...

I would have it sprayed professionally initially. You will have trouble mantaining the splatter affect while trying to cover. Their is heavier..and I'm sure better primer. Mine was a touch up, just wanted it back to black. My only warning to you is to talk to them about taping off and what you don't want lined. My po just had them spray everything. Fing mess.

Edit. Did a panel over self etching primer. Held can far back and do light coats, like 5. I let it dry between for like a half hour. Looks great. So up to you

Got my small bearing spindles and Ford hubs and rotors from UPS today.
I'm one step closed to getting my Dana 44 ready for the jeep this winter.
Now I just need the wheel bearings and seals, and ball joints and I'm ready to start cutting the housing down.

Ya. If he got one of the those electric jobs you should let him know that 50% of electricity in this country is produced by coal.

Im going to get some "powered by coal" bumper stickers and put them on electric cars.

Slid back the instrument panel and pulled the speedo; began John Strenk's troubleshooting checklist. Temp Gauge OK through step 4. Tomorrow dropping the fuel tank to begin that onerous task. Wiring beneath the dash a bird's nest with lots of orphaned wire runs.

Fixed the heater blower motor.

Soaked fasteners down with PB-Blaster getting ready for tub removal and tear down. Sprayed a boat load of Sea Foam down Carb, cranked over with starter to suck into carb and manifold etc. (37 degrees F, rainy+drizzling out) B4 I start disconnecting stuff. She started right up, all I did was give the pedal a couple of pumps w/hand standing next to her to open up plate....funny, wasn't trying to start her! Never figured she would with all the carb cleaner I just dumped down her throat! I figure she is just teasing me....
