Truth be told, they are a little to big for my taste.
Id like them more with just the lights and not the bezel around them.

I like the lights and I like the paint job. When you touch up the paint you may want to use a bit of the black to break up the sudden contrast of the bezels. It is kind of like a camo paint job with solid racing stripes.

Did you litterally just slap and dob black paint over the factory red? I like it, might steal the idea for my bright green '75. The paint is FAR from decent on mine, this kind of application would look cool and cover some sins of the past.
Thanks man. with the kids climbing in and out of it, it did not make since to put a nice paint job on it. i just went to Home Depot, 1qt black high gloss and a roller. I rolled the whole thing then took it off with some mineral spirits.
