Yes on the GND, and run a lead from the grill to both fenders and from both fenders to the firewall.

I figured out my no low beams issue.



Naturally once that was fixed I saw that one low beam was out so now it's spawned into new chrome rings and two new headlights.

Is it worth running a fresh dedicated ground to each for a little extra umph?

That would do it. I don't know about the ground, but I would definitely recommend adding relays to your headlight harness. It made a world of difference to mine.

Well good grounds are simpler and usually the most suspect. I'll consider it. Would I just use one for low and one for high?

Yep. Two relays. I bought mine as a kit from Speedway. But others have made their own. The one I got basically plugs into the socket for one of the lights. Then it has two plugs coming off. One for each light. So simple to install.

And inside the grill at the passenger headlight. Hard to see I know. Sorry

BTW, if you use this harness or make your own I would remove the fuseable links and install automatic circuit breakers. If something ever has a short with links you will lose all lighting on the circuit until you find the short and replace the link. With automatic breakers you will temp. lose lighting until they cool down and reset allowing you to at least limp home.

Exactly as CJ said. It is there the original pass side headlight harness plug attaches to the new harness.

Tried to get 'free' tow hooks for the front bumper.

First I took an old battery to O'reillys, they have an ad for $10 for your old battery. Was going to get the larger drill bit with it. Well, that $10 isn't for lawn mower battery's, which is what I had.

Next I went to Sears to get my core charge back for wife's new battery. Was hoping to get cash back vs back on the card. Had planned to take the cash to HF around the corner for the tow hooks. Well, had to go back on card, no 'free' tow hooks today.

Washed, top down, doors off! Morning temps are in the 30s mid day in the 70s. The sun has moved far enough south in the sky that the altitude no longer adds to the temp. Gotta love fall in the Rockys
