Finally got around to replacing my heater core hoses that are probably as old as the Jeep itself. 😁

Yeah that’s close to what they call Run to Fail now. :chug:

Exactly! 😁 I should sell the old hoses on Ebay as new-old-stock. No low ball offers. I know what I got! 🤣

Dug an m8000 out of storage and bent up angles to attach the winch plate to the 66

Dropped the fuel tank to change sending unit. Also chasing a fueling problem where carb running out of fuel, thinking pickup problem. Found both fuel lines pinched between crane and tank. Bingo! Problem solved.

Nice! I delt with fuel delivery problems for years. Only fixed it after switching out the Howell TBI for a Carter 2bbl, and putting in a low pressure fuel pump. 👍

@jzak I know this to little and to late but... This is a great thread....

Yeah that chopping a hole in the floor of a nice Jeep is a hard thing to do when you spend 4 decades keeping the body nice. If I was driving a rusted swiss cheese body around i wouldn’t hesitate.

I finally cobbled together something for my throttle cable to connect to. The throttle works much, much better now. Here's the before and I'll have to get an "after" shot later as it's dark out now.

So I finally fixed my ongoing valve cover oil leak. Turns out it was the breather grommet. Just wasn't a tight enough seal. Bought a Spectre
push-in breather, which fits like glove. No better feeling than looking under your CJ and not seeing a pool of oil. 👍

Thanks bud! You gotta appreciate those little victories. 😁 I had no idea a loose breather grommet could cause so many problems.
