I HAD ONE OF THOSE, TILL TOYOTA BURNED IT TO THE GROUND DOING WARRANTY WORK. Really they did, as most owners know the front fender wells in those things start to crack around 30 thousand miles of so, and Toyota has keep a recall under the wraps by replacing them on a individual basis, problem is the replacements are now all ripping to shreds.
If you do not believe it go to the big FJ Cruiser forum and do a search, the biggest thread they have is all about it.

A couple of days ago I traded in my 2007 FJ .

They specifically looked for Inner Fender Bulges, and this is at a Chevrolet Dealership..!!
(Im a "Mall Crawler"..my FJ was okay

...)


So good work ....

I picked up my 86 CJ7 way back in 1990.I've rebuilt it many times and replaced most of the parts. Body,frame, engine, tranny, transferecase.

This time around it should be much better.

AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ,T-18 ,Scout Dana 300 with twinstick,Dana 30 L/S,Dana 44 Locker.

I love to say the last CJ.
