2nd Annual Colorado Jeep-CJ.com Trail Report
So have you been thinking about swapping out that T-150 ? Seeing that makes me really question if I want an automatic for myself as well. Im really thinking its T-18 time for both of us. :)

Get the T-18 Pete you won't be unhappy. This is the 4th T-18 I've put in a vehicle I've built.

yes , and power steering too. the locker in the front is a real job to steer.

Well right now the wife is doing most of the looking for me. She wants an auto so she can drive too. I switched jobs inside the factory where I work and am focusing on that a little more these days till I get accustomed to it. I can talk her into going camping at Echo Valley almost any time. Its about 20 min tops from Rausch Creek Off Road Park here in Pa. If I can get here into wheeling a bit ( Shes more than willing to try ) my happy meter would go thru the roof.

The Willys truck doesnt seem to be happening unless the previous owner gives up the title and I make a little more money.

Trailriding by day ,:driving: camping at nite...:booze:pERFECT!!! Sorry for the Hi-jack , carry on...:)

this is a major understatement!!

speaking for one that lives close to sea level, I was leaning on a fender to catch my breath after climbing out of the Jeep.

Set it on the largest pic setting and hit slideshow. Then I slowed it down a bit and paused it when I wanted a longer look. Great options Cj! Well done. :chug:

Dave all I can really say is WOW! Awesome pics. I'll have to check out the rest tomorrow. :notworthy:

Thanks CJ!
Here's some of IO's pics
On lower Engineer Pass Trail we passed this old mining building and Boiler.

These boilers are not uncommon in the mountains around here. They are huge and heavy.
Here's some more mining equipment we passed. This time in Browns Gulch.

And this next pic Larry, I mean IO, shot of the old power station on Black Bear Pass. It is now a private residence.

I hope they don't sleep walk.

Great pics Dave. I wonder how to get more guys from the front range to show up? Maybe shift east a bit like SW of Salida or something...but not sure of the quality of trails in the Rio Grange Nat. Forest.

I plan on getting there next year...looked like a lot of fun.
