One of our neighbors videoed a tornado over the lake, one touched down in Garland the next suburb over and shut down the power to my job very crazy night

Man - What a helpless feeling that must be, to see that so close and know there’s absolutely nothing you can do but watch. Us weenies on the east coast don’t have issue very often, and when they pop up they’re usually pretty small. Glad they missed you!!

There is no way in hell that this “voltage regulating strip” is regulating any voltage at all especially down to 5volts

No wonder the temp gauge is cooked

I also pulled the green dust covers off the back lights, hopefully I can see the speedo at night..... I think I might look into making a resistor jumper or something to bring the bolts down to 5 for the temp gauge, it would be nice to have something working

That is the reason I am replacing my whole unit, I think I will go with a new one from SpeedHut. I called them and asked who makes their gauges and they said they make their own. The speed-O is GPS so tire and gear changes make no difference, they even come with new sensors and a tach

I have not had any luck with Crown stuff.

I want a speed hut set pretty bad, crown and omix ada suck but I gotta make what I got last for awhile for now

Very nice - I have been tracking mileage. Got distracted yesterday, and filled up with about a gallon of fuel left...... that was a little close.
