Snow usually flies sometime in November and that puts the tops back on most jeeps. This year we have had 70 and 60s for day temps and wake up temps in the upper 30s. It is a desert climate in the springs. I just wish the bear would go to sleep. We had one tear a hole in our privacy fence the size of a Buick a few weeks back. We'll wait until after Thanksgiving to rebuild it. Apple trees, gotta love em.

Saw this cool looking CJ down at FN Jeep.

I like that one a good bit. Never was a fan of the chrome grille overlay, but that's a nice CJ

That just sounds like a chance to get a rug in front of the fire place and some more stew meat for the freezer

I live in one of those neighborhoods that has all forms of wildlife walking through at any given time. Herds of mule deer are so common that they are considered pets by many residents. They do bring mountain lions too close for comfort but what the hey. I would probably face severe jail time if I took out a bear. I was tempted tho!

Good catch on the CJ Bill!

I'm bettinyou live a little further out than I do, but we have a need of Whitetail that cruise the neighborhood nightly - and they're remarkably tame. We also have a bear that has decided to partake of our trashcans.....

Actually, one mile west of the front door the terrain goes vertical. A little over two miles North and your in the middle of downtown Colorado Springs. I live just a few blocks from the Broadmoor Resort. Everything East slopes downhill to the Mississippi. LOL

Post a pick without the overlay- I don't know that I have seen one or more correctly noticed one without it. I think mine has the chrome overlay. Now I am curious. IMG_3574.webp

Here ya go...... I see relatively few with the overlay. Laredo 's came factory with 'em, but there were many added aftermarket.

Ms. Hillarie, the trim package that you have on your CJ is consistent with the Laredo package available in your year. It would also have had a tach and a clock and vertical stripes on the seats. About the only thing I don't see on yours is the name Laredo horizontal on the hood sides.

Thanks for the pics! I see the difference now.
There is a tach and a clock and the rear seat is original. Not sure about the front. No stripes.
And the "Laredo " is not on the sides. Everything else is consistent with VIN.
Love that you called me Ms Hillarie. Thinking I will change my screen name to it[emoji2]

Laredo seats that should have been in your jeep when new

That's what my rear seat looks like. Not my front

I would have to conclude that you are the owner of a CJ7 Laredo . A tilt wheel may also have been included. Congratulations Ma'am! Some folks have all the luck!

Tilt wheel yes. Laredo on glove box door (I know those can be switched but it is the original). Leather spice colored wrap on grab bar. It even has the original tire jack still bolted to the passenger inside frame.
All this things plus the VIN led me to believe Laredo too. Seems like the Renegade is more prevalent with less mods. Either way I am happy.

That's a pretty decent Jeep and he's parked in my parking spot.
