Looking for help wiring a fuel gauge, im no electrical expert so please bear with me. I installed a new sending unit and grounded it properly. With the jeep turned off the ohm rating is dead on. I have it somewhere around half a tank and its reading in the high 20's as it should. I bought a new gause with a 73 to 10 rating as required. I spliced off the hot wire to the voltage gauge for the I post. I spliced off the ground wire on the voltage gauge for the ground post. Hooked the sending unit wire to the correct post. Checking it again (turned off) ohms still read correctly. As soon as I turn the key on and it gets power ohms read 0 and gauge obviously always reads full. Any insight will help. Thanks!
