Inside TUB...Cleanup & Rhine Lining/Help

I'm cleaning up the tub, tired of turning the wrench time to clean. I took some pics and really just need to know what to do as in what to use to clean her up 115 grit sandpaper? scotch pad? I know there will be lots of scrubbing I did read a forum over it but don't know where it went.

Took a pic of my pedals too should anything here be replaced? I really wish I could just do a rebuild from ground up but there's no was I have the money for that.

Degreaser and a scrub brush. Try and prop up the front and get after it.

You will have to read the manufacturers recs on proper prep for their product, but it will have to be clean at a bare minimum.

After you get it all washed up and dried, use a shop vac to get all the little stuff up. Trust me on this one. Use the vac to get the wet muddy mess up and it will dry faster at the same time.

I used a wire brush on a hand drill and a regular wire brush. Then I sanded the rough spots. I used Monstaliner Chassis Saver in silver to match my exterior.

What about that front area where theres already lining in there? Will def. give my vac. a workout as well lol

I can only dream , I guess ill start scrubbing tomorrow I really really want a yellow dash to match my jeep but I don't know how to get this or who to go to to do this because I don't want to pay an arm and a leg then again yellow flooring would be YUK lol so maybe just the black.

Yea, I'm not a very good painter ill post pics of my dash later but I sanded primed then sanded primed again then painted it black but just to many scuffs. Is that stuff you used on the flooring pretty good like hows it holding up? Is it a rust preventive?

It is a rust prevenitive and it has aluminium mixed in. When it dries it gets real hard. I used this instead of a bedliner so someday if I repaint the outside of the cj and can repaint the inside to match. Its holding up good. It is kinda costly but well worth it. The nice thing I was able to roll it on and it still has a nice finish like it was sprayed.Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner

So I have a yellow jeep and think black will still go well with the yellow so I'm thinking I will go with that Monstaliner but I think I am just going to get the 1 gallon Black Roll on kit.....

Do yall think this should be enough?

I also bought one gallon. I put 2 coats and I still have 1/4 left. I did the complete inside of the tub.

I am sure it will. Just like previous stated it is all in the prep work. I filled holes from the PO and just took my time. Post pics of your progress. Make sure you wear a mask the fumes are strong. Also clean the top of the can real well. It will seal the lid and you will not get it off. Found out the hard way.

Sure will. Its suppose to rain here for next couple of days so I won't get to clean her but when it stops the progress will begin.

I talk to Monstaliner today about the product that I bought, and was on the phone w/ a guy I could barely understand but he said if I clean the tub to bare metal then I need to have some kind of primer but if it's cleaned down to the paint I can roll montaliner right over the paint.....

Question is did you use a primer? If so what kind? He said that I needs some kind of special primer but I'm pretty sure I can get some at the local Home Depot or Lowes.

I didnt take mine down to bare metal. Just removed all of the lose stuff and filled in screw holes from po
