So, I feeling really stupid having to even bring this up, but im going to. I just changed my oil, because its been about 500 miles since the new cam shaft install. So, drain the oil, take offf the old filter (K&N HP 2003), but the only new filter i have on the shelf is a Purolator PL25288. They are the same thread, but the Purolator is physically smaller than the K&N. After finishing up, and refilling with oil, I go to start it and the engine seemed to pause before it rolled over. Almost like the battery didnt have enough CCA to get it to roll over, but the battery isn't even 6 months old, and didn't do this yesterday...
I guess what I'm dancing around is, is the smaller filter causing to much oil pressure? Is that even possible? Is it a big deal? Should i just run it, or get a bigger filter? I only tried to crank it twice and both times it hesitated pretty hard before it rolled over, so I stopped.
Thanks guys
