So, I was driving down the road and getting wet, dirty road splatter all over the windshield and I thought "I really need to get some kind of windshield sprayer for this thing", then just for giggles I was playing with the wiper knob and I pushed it inward and it sprayed water onto the windshield! I didn't even know there was a sprayer in this thing, and that it worked and still had water in it was an even bigger plus!!

NICE! Gotta love that kind of a surprise.......

Cleaned up some more wires to nowhere in the engine bay. Moved the choke wire to an actual fused ignition on circuit and adjusted it- made it run much better.

Decided to do the Nutter bypass while the loom was open. Got everything tidied back up and eliminated the wire nuts at the alternator.

Ordered a remanufactured dizzy from Napa it’s about the same price as a new vacuum can.

Dont forget to modify that dizzy to get more mechanical advance if you had the ecu controlled dizzy and carb. Those model had very little advance and without a working ecu your engine power will suffer greatly.

Goofing off with my daughters Jeep while mine is under major repair. Cruised over to Bolivar for ride and lunch. Picked up a couple of hitchhikers.

Oh man I cannot tell you how awesome my Goodyear duratracs and Eaton true tracks are, I idled true most of the trail only using the gas pedal for a few deep holes..... when I started this trail I had some pretty good pucker factor going on whether or not I would get stuck and have to winch out now I see I have a very capable Jeep

I adjusted the vacuum can all the way out and could never get it to work wants to die around 2200 rpm when the timing starts to move. I’ll revisit the mechanical advance when I get it put back together.

Today I finished rolling in lower mains, connecting rod bearings and timing chain replaced- it for sure had little to no time left guide ears on the cover were worn bad.

Picked up a set of seats from the local pick n pull out of a Jeep Liberty to replace my ripped up ratty YJ seats. The Liberty slid on the right side so removing that seat was a bit challenging...... And it must of come to rest in a creek - lots of mud inside. Seats were dirty, but not bad. Cleaned up nicely. Now to adapt them to the risers........

Here’s one dirty and one still damp from cleaning...

Sent from work......... yay.

Pulled my Transmission and then struggled with pulling the rear bearing until the shop closed and kicked me out until tomorrow. Now I have all night to game in my head how to get the bearing out.

Yes - yes you did. Isn’t it more difficult to maneuver the mud holes with the hood up??? Or did you break something else??

Looks like you got to try out the winch and it did its job.
You really need to wash that nasty thing. [that's what she said]

You’re going to need a bearing clamp in the snap ring grooves with strong back and threaded studs. Check out Gearbox Videos on YouTube Paul does a great rebuild on the T-176 .
