- 1976 CJ7 Jeep with a engine/tranny/wiring harness out of a 1988 s10 blazer 4.3l v6 with th700r4 automatic tranny and a cj7 Dana 300 transfer case with Novak adapter.
Complete wiring harness from the s10 blazer. Painted with HOT PINK Pearl paint with standard sized metallic halographic pink flakes. Painted by me -a newb. New rear, front and side three wire LED lights, New parts, new custom dash-by me And a lot of guidance from fellow jeepers and lots of prayers etc.... :p

New to this forum. I spend a ton of time researching my 1980 CJ5 here. I will be splattering pics soon and asking all the questions all the new fellers ask. I bet I have an answer or two, as well. My CJ5 has a sb 400 , tb 400, 35,s and a real bad job on all of it. My son, and my self are going through it and fixing some of the real bad stuff, and planning to do major cool stuff before I kick the bucket.

Welcome, from a past Oregonian (Sheridan) now in the desert southwest.
There are some very knowledgeable folks on here. I as well have a sbc in a 80 CJ5 with some very questionable repairs made by POs as well. Been sorting through them for while now. Sounds like it will be a great father /son project.

- 85 CJ7, 350 chevy, headers, Edelbrock intake, Holley 650, sm 465 trans 205 t-case 12.50x 35 x15 BFG mud SOA lift, D30, AMC 20 w/locker and 1 piece axles, front winch bumper/ custom built rear bumper, after market gauges, Black Mountain seats. 1950's jeep chassis with a Postal Jeep body, SOA weld up lockers.

1982 CJ7 . Been up to my elbows in grease for the last few years fixing all the problems...otherwise known as “owning a Jeep”. Trying to stay stock-ish as much as practical.

Of course it would look better with “USAF” on the front rather than the silly “USN/USMC” thing you have on there now.
