I would probably have to paint 3-4 times before it came out fair:(. I'm better off leaving it to professionals like you guys

What did you use for the air runs - I have one of their reels as well, just haven’t plumbed the garage yet. And the pics - where are the pics LOL

Never, ever use PVC for your air runs. I did in my last house and never had a problem, but when researching materials for this house I discovered that PVC can burst, and when it does, it shatters into flesh piercing shards.

I found this RapidAir system at Northern Tool and love it. Ran lines to the upstairs garage, the jeep/woodworking shop, and the leather shop all off the same compressor. Put hose reels in all three. Then installed a three way switch to the compressor so it can be turned on from upstairs or downstairs.

This system is only $72 at Norther Tool!!!

I have also heard about the bursting pvc before, all of our machines at my job uses the same hose and fittings as what’s in that kit so I know that stuff works great, that’s the cheapest price that I have seen on that kit I think I might be going the northern tool today. Thanks for the link

They've got all the misc. tees and ells, extra manifolds, etc. to customize your layout.

Here's mine… It used to be over the saw table, but I had to move things around to fit the Jeep. I'm going to move the cord reel.

The only problem with my situation is I know I have had more than AMC 150 psi which looks like the max for this hose. My PVC is buried in the ground and steel pipe in the garage,so I feel fairly safe in my situation. Always good to think about others though in each usage

Ya that’s the same problem I have. My compressor runs at 175psi so I have my regulator attached to the compressor withe steel pipe and a ball valve to cut the air supply off when not in use, on a happy note I had trouble finding fine thread grade 8 bolts local for my driveshaft so I decided to splurge on ARP bolts

At first I thought you were just rolling down hill in the driveway with sound effects, but when you backed up I knew it was the real deal. Congratulations!

I figure a few days and I won’t be able to resist it anymore and I will cap off the rear brake line and bleed out the front brakes then it’s on

Burning all the receipts for all the stuff you bought for your build ? Can't blame you, they would be scary adding it all up :)
