Very nice looking !

Just for kicks check the I post at the starter relay, (should be 0v with key off).
Check the resistor wire between the alternator and I post (shouldn't be 12v key on).
Alternator inline diode (should feed back 0v engine running).

Ok - back to the alternator backfeeding issue..... before I could get to this I decided to have the alternator checked - it is a “rebuilt in Mexico” unit..... inured if it was bad I’d swap it out. Took it to Autozone, they checked it, and deemed it good. Took it to Advance Auto. They deemed it good. For some reason my gut told me to keep trying. Dropped it off yesterday afternoon, he did a quick check, said it was charging but didn’t like that the idiot light didn’t light up. Still waiting on that. LOL. The guy said he’d do a full test this morning and give me a call. Didn’t hear anything so I ran by about 4:45. The receptionist got real y and said they were busy and would get to it as soon as they could. I’ll give her one more shot at the customer service thing - but wow was she a turd.

So while I wait, I made a couple spreaders for the soft top bows - it’s one full size bow and a smaller bow - the smaller one doesn’t like to stay put, so I made the spreaders to maintain the gap. Pics tomorrow

So this evening after being dressed down by an older receptionist, I took a look at the D rings on the back bumper. Didn’t like the way they bounced against the bumper - might chip that super expensive rustolium paint job. So I dipped em in plastidip. Figure first time I use em it’ll come off, but it replaces easy enough.

Of course not.

I have seen rubber isolators that clip into the inside of the d ring to keep them from rattling. If you do use them and decide not to re-dip them.

I’d rather just find a Hummer to pull em out.....
